Sometimes, when you love someone very, very much, you want to find a way of describing how great your feelings are. But, as Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare discover, love is not an easy thing to measure!
Lucy greets the audience and introduces us to Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare as they discover the delights of the seasons. In Spring, they discovered the seeds growing and the trees coming into bloom. They also quickly realise that Spring is the season for hares to go hopping! They discover young creatures in the field, the tadpole becoming a frog and the caterpillar growing into a butterfly. They see that everything is growing and sing a song about growing up.
As Spring turns to Summer we find out about the delights and pastimes that can be enjoyed as the season changes. After their Summer adventures, the weather turns cooler and the hares know that Autumn is on the way. They play in the Autumn leaves and have fun with a game of hide and seek.
When the snow falls, Winter is here! Lucy sings a song called A Winter’s Day and she feels really really cold. They all dance to keep warm.
After their adventures and all the fun, games and laughter, it’s time for bed. Little Nutbrown Hare asks Big Nutbrown Hare’s to "Guess How Much I Love You", ending with Big Nutbrown Hare saying "I love you right up to the moon – and back".
