Amazing, star-studded celebrity weekend on 2nd and 3rd September 2011 launched the world famous Blackpool Illuminations until 6th November.

Mr Keith Lemon will Switch-On the 2011 Blackpool Illuminations.

Joining him for what is guaranteed to be a fantastic nights entertainment will be:
Scouting for Girls, James Morrison, Pixie Lott, Joe McElderry, Olly Murs, Paul Carrack, Wonderland, Beverley Knight, Darren Hayes, The Reason 4 and The Overtones.

Keith Lemon is one of the many alter-ego’s from the mind of comedy genius, Leigh Francis.
Currently in his third year with the massively successful ‘Celebrity Juice’ he’s responsible for such iconic TV shows as ‘Bo' Selecta!’ ‘A Bear's Tail’, Keith’s first solo show, the brilliantly funny, and perfectly executed travel log, ‘Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour’.

He also appeared on Big Brother's Little Brother and Big Brother's Big Mouth, as a judge on Let's Dance for Comic Relief this year, co-presented ‘Sing If You Can’ with Stacey Solomon, made regular appearances on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now! and is the agony uncle on This Morning.

• Pixie Lott has a clutch of hit singles, a top ten album under her belt and is joined in the line-up by Joe McElderry, winner of ‘The X Factor’ in 2009 and this year’s ‘Popstar To Operastar’. Runner up to Joe in ‘The X Factor’ was Olly Murs.
• Olly Murs now a huge star in his own right he returns to Blackpool after a rapturous reception at last year’s event.
• The man with the soulful voice responsible for a mountain of classic songs, Paul Carrack, joins the stellar line-up and bringing their special brand of pop music and high glamour to the party of the year are stunning new girl band, Wonderland.
• Last but not least in this first wave announcement is, vocal doo-wop group The Overtones. Top chart band Scouting for Girls who have a string of top ten singles including the monsters ‘She’s So Lovely’, ‘Elvis Ain't Dead’ ‘Heartbeat’ and the #1 smash it ‘This Ain't a Love Song’.
• Currently promoting her 7th album, ‘Soul UK’ and single ‘Cuddly Toy’ Beverley Knight will bring the party to The Big Switch-on.
• Having sold a staggering 25 million records to date, we are delighted to announce former member of Savage Garden, Darren Hayes to the line up with The X-Factor’s The Reason 4, who are wowing audiences across the UK.
