Raymond found fame as a child actor playing bullied schoolboy Anthony Murray in Brookside. It earned him a soap award in 2002 for best dramatic performance.
His debut album went straight to number 1 in the UK charts.
His album also went gold in the first week.
Ray participated in The X Factor UK and Ireland Tour during February and March of 2007.
Ray also embarked on his own solo tour in October 2007.
The show was a must see during the illumination season.
