Presented by Starstruck Promotions. The show brings together the fantastic Krankies, Pop Idol star Chris Hide, the hilarious Stu Francis, legendary 80's stars Bucks Fizz, Blackpool favourite & "Stars in their Eyes Kids" star Kirsty Williams & last but certainly not least, the fantastic Emmi Jay dancers.
The show sees the return to stage for the Krankies, following a horrific accident last year for Janette. The duo were performing at the Glasgow pavilion in Jack & the Beanstalk, when a mechanical failure on the beanstalk led to Jeanette falling 20ft & suffering a fractured skull, broken collar bone, perforated ear drum & bad bruising. Jeanette is now recovered & both her & partner Ian of 35 years with their legendary act, can't wait to get back on stage in Blackpool this summer.
They are joined by Chris Hide, made famous when he came fourth in Pop Idol two years ago. Chris has a new album out in May & has just completed a sell out arena tour with other Pop Idol colleagues. Chris has a massive fan base & writes & produces a large percentage of own material. His incredible vocals & dynamic performance make him a must see this season.
Stu Francis is no stranger to Blackpool & has appeared in many fantastic shows on the Pier in the past. He brings his notorious "Crush a Grape" humour to this amazing variety of entertainment, ensuring that the comedy lovers in the audience won't go home disappointed.
Pop sensations Bucks Fizz add a sparkle to proceedings as they take us back to the 80's with memories of our favourite hits. The new line up, featuring original star Bobby Gee, also bring new material to the show & bring the Bucks Fizz special formulae into the "naughties".
Kirsty Williams returns to North Pier after success in Granada TV's "Stars in their Eyes Kids" & last year's "Frank Carson All Star Show", where she appeared with her idol Susan Maughan. Kirsty has risen in popularity & will appear once more on Granada's Stars in their Eyes Kids" this May.
Another highlight in this amazing show is the Emmi Jay dancers, who appear throughout the full production with a series energetic routines.
