It is not often that you get 2 of our most talented soap stars on one stage but come to Blackpool and you'll see that happen.Singer and Bill,/Brookside actress Bernie Nolan and Emmerdale star Richard Shelton show off their talents by performing with a slick five piece band at Blackpool's North Pier on Saturdays from 21 July through to 27 October, (not including 11 Aug) in The Soap Queens (and Kings).
Richard Shelton is best known as the charming but murderous Dr. Adam Forsythe in Emmerdale. He married Steph (Lorraine Chase) and then proceeded to kill her brother Terrance and poison her, before hanging himself.
Richard was nominated for 'Best actor in a leading role' as Frank Sinatra in the West End and touring versions of 'Rat Pack Confidential' He also teamed up with Clair Sweeney in 'Celebrity Stars in their Eyes' to perform alongside her Barbara Streisand as Neil Diamond.
Bernie and Richard have promised to give audiences an evening to remember, with Bernie performing some of the most popular songs over the last couple of decades, and Richard reprising songs as Sinatra from Rat Pack Confidential, as well as adding the comedy talent of Tucker.
So if you want an evening that really has it all, with music and comedy but with no miming, no tapes but a real band with real voices then make sure you get your tickets.
