We'll Meet Again was held at the Winter Gardens Pavilion in Blackpool from July 5th - 30th and August 2nd - 31st 2005.
Any return of the We'll Meet Again show will be announced here.
The show has just completed a highly successful tour of the British Isles commemorating the 60th anniversary of D-Day, and as the country's biggest variety show it is only fitting that We'll Meet Again should return to Blackpool, the Light Entertainment Capital!
For those who remember the 40s, the show will bring back happy memories of the era's greatest stars, such as Vera Lynn, Flanagan & Allen, Robb Wilton, Bing Crosby and Gracie Fields. And Andy Eastwood will be paying tribute to Britain's most popular wartime star of all, GEORGE FORMBY - whose centenary is being celebrated this year. For those too young to remember, WE'LL MEET AGAIN will be an introduction to a world of swinging music and laughter as we recreate the songs and sounds that kept Britain smiling through her darkest days.
Compere Mervyn Francis presents a superb cast of entertainers including TV's comic impressionist Adam Daye, soprano Beryl Johnson of Friday Night is Music Night fame, virtuoso of comedy Pete Lindup, and the velvet voice of Tony Leyton. As well as recalling George Formby, Andy Eastwood will be portraying the great jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli. And as an extra treat, Mike Terry will storm the stage with sing-along melodies to remind us just why he is one of the country's favourite piano entertainers. Musical backing will be provided by the Steve Clark Duo.
